This video was really inspiring when trying to research Gothic horror, it includes a lot of horror iconography such as the dark coloured theme and props such as the skulls, there's also a lot of dark shadowing, dark clothes and very dark make-up used. Both eyes and lips are heavily covered creating a very heavy, Gothic look, matched with the dark, black hair and the dark fur coat the overall look is very effective but still withholds a sexual, attractive element. Also when first discovering the video one of the first things I associated with her image was the femme fatale archetype. Her long black, sleek hair paired with the dark lips are the main signifier's of this.

I wasn't sure if to include Rihanna's S&M video in my research because I was unsure to whether it definitely related to the topic however I think most of Rihanna's character roles that she plays within the video could all be versions of Claudia. The lyrics themselves relate to her such as "I may be bad but I'm perfectly good at it." Plus, "Chains and whips excite me." Both lines relate to her unusual, bizarre, unconventional character and characteristics.
