Experimenting and practicing eye application and techniques...
Practising on Nicole in the studio...
Model: Nicole Eyres
I practiced a smokey, cat eye on Nicole. The look didn't translate well through the photographs but we only had a small amount of time to do this in so we were only able to do half a face. If I had been given more time I would have blended the black on the socket of the eye better.
Lottie gave us some good techniques such as to wet/dampen the eye shadow before application so its more of a wet/paste mixture rather than a powder. This enables you to have more control as you can line the eye then blend it out. It also prevents fall out.
Practising some dark cat eyes and lined flicks on Georgie...
These are some images from my Digital Image Production 2 (FMS404) perfume advertisement shoot. I included a dark smokey eye paired with a dark red lip. Both examples of what I have been trying to perfect above. A dark eye and lip are normally sworn not to be seen together but for this gothic, biker type theme I was aiming for I thought the dreaded pair would suit.
Model: Georgie Dennis.
