Horror movies.
Personally I'm not a huge horror movie fan, I can't understand or even try to relate to how people can want to scare themselves or just agree to be apart of something that throws them right out of there comfort zone by choice. It would just result in no sleep for me! However claudia on the other hand bases her life on character from each of the horror films she watches. Films such as Eden lake and creep are are still considered horror films but the less scary versions in my opinion! Each portrays a female protagonist labelled as the final girl. Both girls are introduced as normal, good people with most of the shots conveying them in soft high key lighting connoting positivity and a sense of safety for the audience. Both are also dressed in quite feminine, girly outfits emphasising there good girl role in the film. The main female lead in Eden lake was even more noticeably dressed in a floaty printed dress paired with a very natural looking face and hairstyle.
This is Kate the female lead in the film Creep. The first shot is her at the beginning of the film and second an example of her appearance towards the end.
